Visitor Information 

The Deep South Pioneer Museum is located less than a kilometer north of Ogema on Government Road. 

Ogema is situated along the historic Red Coat Trail (Highway #13) south of Regina. 

Hours of Operation Summer 2014 (May Long Weekend to Labour Day Weekend)

Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. 

Group tours can be booked in advance by calling ----. 

Please note that a full DSPM experience takes at least two hours, so plan accordingly. However, we welcome visitors who can only spend a brief time at the museum as well. 

Admission: Adults $5.00

Youths/Students $3.00

Pre-school Free

**All Southern Prairie Railway ticket holders receive complimentary admission to the DSPM with their ticket stubs, valid until October, 2014. 

The DSPM is dependent on museum admissions and donations. Your support is appreciated. 

For visitors with limited mobility, a golf cart is available for ease of access. Most of the buildings are accessible, however there are a few that are not. Please ask museum staff or volunteers for assistance if needed. 

The museum is child friendly. However, we ask that you follow the guidelines listed in our museum etiquette.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times on the museum grounds. 

Pets are allowed on the museum grounds on leash only. No pets are allowed in any buildings. Please pick up after your pets.


Museum Etiquette

Please do not handle any objects in any of the displays

Please close the doors of buildings after you exit. This helps protect the artifacts from sunlight exposure and dust. 

Please exercise caution when examining the vintage equipment. The DSPM is not responsible for any injuries that may occur from interacting with any of the museum's objects, including the machinery. 

Please do not leave children unattended in any area of the museum..
